Rittai-Shisyuu Sayoko accepts semi-custom order requests from customers who are a bit overwhelmed by the full-custom option. You can select an item from this page and request us to change a part of the design, including butterfly sizes, and colors and shapes of wings. After listening to our customer’s vision and request, we made design drawings and created the original pieces.

We produced this design after listening to our customer’s vision. She requested a butterfly having aurora colors.
Colored-gold threads and lame yarn are used to make their wings as beautiful as aurora. Their color shifts as the viewing angle is changed.

Project 2: Items made based on specimens and pictures
We created items based on specimens or pictures provided after listening to our customer’s requests.
Specimen of Large Tree Nymph Butterfly
One of our customers collected this butterfly at Amami Oshima, Japan, on May 18, 2016.
Given the complicated patterns, the wings were a challenge to stitch. But by using several different-colored threads, we successfully reproduced their elegance faithfully. We also reproduced its golden pupa using genuine gold threads and Swarovski crystals.

Project 3: Items made based on full-custom request
We crafted 3D embroidery works for three dresses designed by Yumi for her 2019 SS Couture Collection. We successfully crafted acclaimed works (five eagles and seven butterflies) just with presented images for the white dress. For the pink and black one, we made three cherry-blossom-colored butterflies. We also provided Yumi with 5 unique hair accessories and 3 body jewelry that can be placed on your body with a sticker. All of these were coordinated with her dress colors.
